Action Man is an anachronism of the Cold War. These guys should be out helping the environment: building tunnels under runways, living in tree houses, using their dhingy’s to cut off whaling ships, etc etc. PS Like you, I am totally insane...

I obtained my first action man by swopping a japanese miniture camera as a child. It was a gift from my grandmother, I was severley repremanded, but I never regreted it. Solid hands rule.
